Universal Orlando held passholder nights on August 15 and 16, 2025. To attend this complimentary event, you had to be quick in securing a reservation in advance, which sells out quickly. I attended on Saturday, August 16th, and here is an exclusive look at what took place.
The earliest you could check in for the event was 4:00pm, but hotel guests were able to check in as early as 2:00pm. When entering the park, you had to go to the designated UOAP nights entrance and show your email confirmation and proof of reservation. They were strict about having a reservation and did not let you attend without one. Then, you have your annual pass scanned to get a wristband. After getting a wristband, Frank the Pug pins were being handed out.

The pre-party started at 4:00pm and went until 7:00pm in the Soundstage 21 building. It hit capacity around 5:30pm so they stopped letting people in. I arrived around 4:05pm and the line stretched all the way to Revenge of the Mummy so I waited around 30 minutes to get inside.
Once inside, there was a DJ, character meet-and-greets, Coca-Cola samples, food for purchase, and exclusive UOAP nights t-shirts for sale.
The special characters included John Hammond from Jurassic Park, Trevor and Phoebe from Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Doc Brown and Einstein from Back to the Future, and some animal control officers from Jurassic World capturing escaped dinosaurs in nets. The line for Ghostbusters was the longest, but there was enough time to meet all of the characters if you wanted.
Coca-Cola samples were in tiny cups, but guests were allowed to grab as many as they liked. The flavor they had out was cream soda, which was surprisingly good.
The food and beverages for purchase were as follows (not including tax):
Pretzel - $5.00
Churro - $5.00
AP PEACHY specialty beverage - $16.00
UOAP nights cupcake - $7.00

There were two t-shirts for sale - a black Frank the Pug t-shirt with UOAP written on the front and the back featured Frank with the saying "Agent F as in Frank", and a light blue classic movies t-shirt that read "See the Stars. Ride the Movies." and featured King Kong, Jaws, Back to the Future, and E.T. Both were priced at $30 plus tax. The Frank the Pug t-shirt was especially popular and selling quickly.

At the Tonight Shop (store at the exit of Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon ride), they were handing out Burning Blade Tavern windmill pins and magnets that read UOAP and featured E.T., Jurassic Park, Jaws, and Men in Black. They ran out of the windmill pins early on and were just handing out magnets after that.

The exclusive UOAP (annual passholder) and UOTM (team member) store was open during the event. Everything was marked down 80-90% off its original price, though the items were picked over.
Meet-and-greets were available throughout the night, but there were no posted times on the app, and team members did not have solid information. The most popular meet-and-greet was Frank the Pug with a couple of agents from Men in Black near the ride. This supposedly started at 8:30pm, but at 7:00pm the line was already backed up to Diagon Alley.
The Visa Everywhere Lounge, located near the front of the park, was open to all annual passholders during the event. It was a quiet, air-conditioned lounge with couches for relaxing. Complimentary water bottles and blue sugar cookies were available, as well as reusable bags they were handing out to everyone who entered. They were also handing out free reusable bags to everyone who entered. The lounge is normally only open to Visa cardholders, making this a nice perk.
Beyond that, it was a mostly normal night at the park with low wait times being the highlight. Most rides were walk-on or had very low wait times. Overall, this is a great perk for annual passholders, and hopefully, Universal will bring it back next summer.
