How to be a tourist in...
Mykonos, Greece

Mykonos is known for its nightlife, picturesque windmills, and gorgeous architecture. We can easily say that Mykonos is our favorite island in Greece for the overall ambiance and atmosphere. Here's our guide for how to be a tourist in Mykonos.
Cruise Port
If you're arriving by cruise ship, you will likely dock at Tourlos, also known as Mykonos new port. From here, you will have to take a Seabus to Mykonos Old Town which costs 2 euros. While there are other options such as taxis, a Seabus is your quickest and cheapest option. If you have an excursion booked, be sure to check where the pickup point is, as it might be where the cruise ship docks, in which case you won't have to take the Seabus.

Things to do
Explore Old Town
A day best spent in Mykonos is a day simply exploring, shopping, and trying new foods. Once you get off the Seabus, there is shopping, restaurants, and the iconic windmills within walking distance. There are also endless alleys of Cycladic houses that you can wander around with hidden bakeries and shops to explore. For the best experience, consider booking a half day highlights of Mykonos tour.

Catamaran Cruise
The Greek islands are most picturesque from sea. A catamaran cruise is one of the best ways to experience Mykonos. You can book a catamaran cruise here. This tour includes a traditional meal, wide selection of drinks, and fruit. It also has a 2 hour stop at Rhenia island for swimming with included snorkel equipment. You can also opt to be picked up from your hotel or cruise port.
Nightlife
Experiencing nightlife is not always an option when visiting Mykonos on a cruise ship, but if you are staying in Mykonos or have an overnight here, the nightlife is something not to miss. You can find some of the most popular party spots on Paradise Beach including Tropicana Club and Scarpa. There are buses that run late at night to avoid drunk driving so consider taking them if you are partying.
